St Lucia is an unspoilt beauty – a real jewel in the Caribbean. This amazing island has white sandy beaches, clear blue seas, fantastic restaurants and superb hotels, which are largely found on the North West coast. A great variety of accommodation ensures a great beach holiday for everyone on this beautiful island.

There are plenty of hotels to choose form both around the Island. From the 3* St Lucian by Rex Resort to the all inclusive 4* Jalousie Plantation, which is situated between the famous Pitons, there is something for everyone’s budget. If you fancy some pampered luxury, you may wish to stay at one of the many Sandals resorts, which are popular with honeymooners and couples.

There are many things to do once you’ve arrived St Lucia. There are the glorious white sandy beaches to explore, but if you can tear yourself away from them, there are many other attractions around the island. The Pitons are an essential stop, as are the botanical gardens and the drive thorough volcano! There are also many boat trips and water sports on offer including snorkelling and diving. The calm clear waters of the west coast are perfect for this. You may even be lucky enough to see the leather back turtles come ashore to nest during March and September. Or you may wish to enjoy a relaxing round of Championship golf. There are many day trips that you can take advantage of, or simply hire a car and explore St Lucia for yourself!

December through to April is considered to be the high season, when temperatures are high but rainfall is considerably lower than the summer months. A nine hour flight from the UK, the main language spoken is English and the currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, although American dollars are widely accepted.
