My fiance and I are vaguely considering an African safari for our honeymoon but we want a combination of adventure as well as luxury (for the nights ;-D)
Are there any like that out there?

Of course there is.
Safaris vary from budget (camping in safari tents) to Luxury (like any themed 5* hotel)

Are There Any European River Cruises That Are For 4 Days?

I can leave from Strausbourg, France or in Germany. Most cruises seem to be for 7 or more days.

There is one cruise line I know of that offers a choice of 3-7 day cruises on the Rhine. Most of the departures start in Strasbourg. There are a few that starts in Koln/Cologne, Rudesheim, and Cochem. Here’s the home page link-http://www.croisieurope.com/index_uk.php

You could also do it yourself and cruise during the day and stay in a hotel at night. For example, cruise on the Rhine from Frankfurt to Rudesheim on the PRIMUS-LINIE. Stay in Rudesheim overnight. Then the next day hop on a KD boat from Rudesheim to either St. Goar, St. Goarshausen, or Koblenz and stay overnight and on the 3rd day take another KD cruise from Koblenz to Cochem on the Moselle river.
