Kenya
£4,500 [ this was a full works they can be cheaper]
Spent about £800.00 but not essential
Mini first-aid kit, Malaria prophylaxis, Mosquito repellent, Alka Seltzer and Imodium.
Did i enjoy? lol well that’s a whole new storey! but the safari was good and i would do it again, just different company!!

Does Anyone Know Why Western Caribbean Cruises Leave Earlier Than Other Caribbean Cruises?

I’ve been on numerous cruises, about 9, and i am about to depart on a western caribbean cruise. I noticed that they leave a good six hours earlier than southern caribbean cruises. Can anyone help me as in to figuring out this phenomeon?

From U.S. ports, most cruises leave around 4:00-5:00PM local time.
Ships sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico generally leave later in the evening (usually between 10:00PM and Midnight) because of the increased travel time that it takes to get to San Juan.
Also flight options to San Juan are sometimes not as plentiful as they are to say, Miami or Fort Lauderdale, etc…so that is also taken into account, when planning ship departure times from San Juan.

im travelling from LA to Seattle in june and want to travel by car up the pacific coast highway, most places ive looked have a $400 one hire fee. does anyone know of any decent but cheap one way hire companies? or have any other suggestions of how to get around? thanks

They are all pretty much the same you will find but i found the best deals were to get one when you are there rather than pre-booking. The larger companies think nothing of one way hire and airport to another airport works well.
Never done that drive, yet, but it is one on my list. A bike would be better for me though.
