My girlfriend and I are planning on going on a cruise this summer and neither one of us have booked a cruise vacation before. I’ve tried googling cheap cruise tickets but every web site that comes up looks a little fishy. I just don’t want to hop aboard the first cheap price I see with out feeling like I’m being scammed or some creep in Nigeria is stealing my money through some fake website. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Any of the major travel websites is good to use. Understand that you won’t find one site’s price much lower than any other site. All the sites get the same feed from the cruise lines.
Now some websites, like vacationstogo.com is an actual travel agency so they might have different prices because they might still have openings in the block of rooms they pre reserved.
This close to when you are cruising drastically reduces what rooms are still available.
one last thing, I hope one of you are 25 or older.
Cheap and Summer Cruise don’t usually go together…
but give us a chance to beat anyone’s cruise price.

Also, if an agency looks iffy, ask for their CLIA id. (Cruise Line International Assoc.) Every certified cruise travel agent is assigned a unique CLIA number, and these IDs can be verified at http://www.cruising.org
I highly recommend http://vacationstogo.com/index.cfm
You can compare all cruises from different cruise lines on one page. Very good site, easy to navigate.
They also have a toll free number, which is 1800-338-4962.
I have booked several cruise with them and been very happy with the deals.
Hope I helped!
Vacationstogo.com is a good site and it is real. Just be sure you know exactly what you want before booking as changing your mind is not always easy. One tip is to go to a travel agent and ask lots of questions, get some quotes, then use vacationstogo.
