You’d have to go with one of the big hire companies.
Also, unless the car runs on autogas, don’t say you want gas – you need either petrol or diesel. Car fuel is sold by the litre, and it’s currently about €1.20 per litre in many countries, or even more. Do the maths – there are about 3.5 litres in a gallon.
You might it better to use the rail network, it can work out cheaper.

some companies will, most won’t. with the ones that do, it won’t be cheap. also i would recommend calling the reservation offices and asking them directly rather than just checking the websites
